Under the leadership of Jantreshwar Yadav, National President of the Kashi Vishwanath Dal, devotees offered abir-gulal at the feet of Goddess Annapurna as the idol of Goddess Mahalakshmi\/Bharat Mata was not available.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Yadav stated that it has been a long-standing tradition to offer abir-gulal to Goddess Mahalakshmi a day before Rangbhari Ekadashi. As the idol was unavailable last year as well, devotees performed symbolic worship. He demanded that a Mahalakshmi idol be installed at the Kashi Vishwanath Dham at the earliest to ensure regular worship and continuation of the tradition.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>He also mentioned that a request has previously been submitted to the Commissioner and the Chief Executive Officer, and recalled that former Commissioner Kaushal Raj Sharma had directed officials regarding the idol\u2019s installation.<\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Devotees raised slogans of \u201cHar Har Mahadev\u201d and reiterated their demand for the installation of the Mahalakshmi idol. The ceremony concluded with traditional rituals and recitation of devotional verses.
