More than 300 patients and their family members participated in the event.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>The programme was graced by the Vice Chancellor, Prof. Ajit Kumar Chaturvedi, as the Chief Guest. Head of the Department, Dr. Devesh Prakash Yadav, informed that cases of Inflammatory Bowel Disease (IBD) are continuously increasing, but timely diagnosis and modern treatment can help patients lead a normal life. He further stated that nearly 2,000 patients have been registered so far at the department\u2019s dedicated IBD clinic.<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>Specialist doctors provided detailed information about the symptoms, diagnosis, and advanced treatment options for IBD, including the Fecal Microbiota Transplantation (FMT) technique.
