Alleged Violation of High Court Status Quo Order in Disputed Land Plotting<\/strong><\/p>\n

Victims Seek Immediate Administrative Intervention to Stop Alleged Illegal Sale of Land<\/strong><\/p>\n

Registry Complaint Sent to District Magistrate on May 7, 2026; Last Hearing in High Court Held on April 27, 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n

Varanasi: Residents of Jagdishpur, Babatpur under Pindra tehsil, including complainant Lautan and others, have lodged a serious complaint before the local administration alleging illegal plotting and sale of disputed land despite a status quo order issued by the Hon\u2019ble Allahabad High Court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

According to the complainants, in Writ Petition No. 13647\/1983 pending before the Hon\u2019ble Allahabad High Court, an order dated February 14, 1984 directed both parties to maintain status quo over the disputed land. However, the accused parties are allegedly continuing plotting activities and selling plots in violation of the court\u2019s directive.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The complainants alleged that after the death of Phulesari wife of Sarju, her sons Samaru and Gudun, and subsequently after the death of Samaru, his sons Amar Bahadur, Lakshiman, Arjun, along with Smt. Dukhna Devi and others, have been selling plots under the name \u201cKailash Nagari\u201d by putting up promotional boards at the site.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The complaint further accuses officials of the Tehsil and Registry Office of collusion in facilitating mutation entries and execution of sale deeds related to the disputed property.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The petitioners have questioned whether the accused possess any lawful order permitting plotting or sale of the land and demanded that such authorization, if any, be made public. They argued that since the matter remains sub judice and the High Court\u2019s status quo order is still in force, any sale or purchase of the land may amount to contempt of court.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The complainants had earlier sent a registered complaint to the District Magistrate, Varanasi on May 7, 2026. The matter was last heard before the High Court on April 27, 2026.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The victims have urged the administration to immediately halt all plotting and sale activities on the disputed land to uphold the dignity of the Hon\u2019ble High Court\u2019s order and safeguard the rights of the petitioners.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Copies of the High Court order, alleged sale deeds, and documents related to the pending litigation have been attached with the complaint. Copies have also been forwarded to the Chief Minister, District Magistrate Varanasi, and Tehsildar Pindra.<\/strong><\/p>\n
