NIMS University Rajasthan Launches ₹100 Crore Mega Scholarship Scheme in Varanasi
Varanasi: NIMS University Rajasthan has launched a ₹100 crore Mega Scholarship Scheme in Varanasi, aiming to support meritorious and economically weaker students pursuing higher education in professional courses.
The grand event was held at The Clarks Varanasi and featured a press conference along with the “Guru Vandan 2026” Teachers’ Conference. More than 160 educationists from Varanasi and nearby districts participated in the program.
During the press interaction, university officials announced merit-based scholarships for deserving students seeking admission in professional courses such as Medical, Engineering, Management, Law, Pharmacy, and Nursing. The initiative is designed to ensure that talented students are not deprived of quality education due to financial constraints.
The Mayor of Varanasi, Ashok Tiwari, graced the occasion as the Chief Guest and described the scholarship scheme as a historic opportunity for students of the region.
The “Guru Vandan 2026” conference included discussions on key topics such as the New Education Policy, skill development, and career guidance. Experts present at the event expressed confidence that the initiative would benefit thousands of students and significantly enhance the accessibility and quality of higher education in the region.
