Varanasi Social Worker Alok Parikh Honored; Wave of Joy at Jeet Home Society

Varanasi: Prominent social worker Alok Parikh of Varanasi was honored for his remarkable contributions to the field of art and culture. The felicitation took place in Lucknow during the golden jubilee celebrations of the Bharteendu Natya Academy. On the sixth day of the seven-day event, held on Friday at the academy’s grand auditorium, Governor Anandiben Patel and Deputy Chief Minister Brajesh Pathak presented him with a ceremonial shawl and a memento.
To celebrate this achievement, a special कार्यक्रम was also organized at Jeet Home Society in Varanasi. Society President Ravi Shankar Sharma, along with Vinod Kumar Singh, Pradeep Kumar Srivastava, Dr. Dileep Kumar Srivastava, and other members, honored Alok Parikh with a shawl and memento. The entire society witnessed a joyful atmosphere on the occasion.
It is noteworthy that Alok Parikh successfully organized the “City Mahotsav” in Varanasi from 1996 to 2017. Additionally, through popular platforms like Zee TV’s reality show “Sa Re Ga Ma” and “Close-Up Antakshari,” he played a significant role in providing national recognition to emerging artists from Kashi and the Purvanchal region.
