New Regional Executive Committee of UP Roadways Employees Welfare Association Formed

Sanjay Kumar Elected Regional President, Rajesh Kumar Singh Appointed Regional Minister

Newly Formed Committee Resolves to Work for Welfare and Rights of Roadways Employees

Varanasi: The election and formation of the Regional Executive Committee of the Uttar Pradesh Roadways Employees Welfare Association, Varanasi Region, for the session 2026-27 was successfully conducted unanimously in the presence of State President D.K. Tripathi and under the supervision of Election Officer Rajesh Kumar Srivastava. The election process was held peacefully and cordially with the participation of senior office-bearers and members of the organization.

In the newly constituted committee, Sanjay Kumar was elected as Regional President, while Shyam Singh was appointed Executive President. Kuldeep Singh, Housila Prasad, and Bihari Lal were named Vice Presidents. Rajesh Kumar Singh was given the responsibility of Regional Minister, while Mahesh Kumar Yadav, Ajit Seth, and Vineet Kumar Pandey were appointed Joint Ministers. Shivam Kumar Srivastava was entrusted with the post of Organization Minister.

Anup Chaurasia was appointed Treasurer, Anil Kumar Pandey as Information and Publicity Minister, and Rajesh Kumar Srivastava as Office Minister.

The Executive Committee members include Govind Upadhyay, Yogendra Singh, Jagdish Prasad, Nahid Akhtar, Atul Singh, Dhruvnath Singh, Veer Vikram Bahadur Singh, Azad Singh, Bindu Yadav, Ashish Modanwal, Ajay Gaur, Naveen Singh, Dharm Prakash Singh, and Rishikesh Singh.

The newly elected office-bearers pledged to work continuously for the welfare of roadways employees, strengthen the organization, and address employees’ issues effectively.

At the conclusion of the program, Election Officer Rajesh Kumar Srivastava congratulated all newly elected members and urged them to maintain unity within the organization and remain committed to employee welfare.
