Central Bank of India Organizes Mega Retail Outreach Program in Varanasi; Retail Loans Worth ₹42 Crore Sanctioned

Varanasi, February 21, 2026: Central Bank of India successfully organized a Mega Retail Outreach Program under its Varanasi Region at The Elance Hotel, Kakarmatta. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from customers and marked a significant milestone in strengthening retail banking outreach in the region.
The program was graced by Deputy General Manager (DGM) Mr. Ranjeet Singh as the Chief Guest. Regional Manager Mr. Ranvijay Singh, along with senior bank officials and branch heads from various branches, were also present on the occasion.
A large number of retail customers, traders, salaried employees, homemakers, and self-employed individuals participated in the program. During the event, detailed information was provided about various retail loan products, including Home Loans, Personal Loans, Vehicle Loans, Education Loans, Gold Loans, Overdraft facilities, and other consumer loan schemes.
Retail loans amounting to a total of ₹42 crore were sanctioned during the camp. Several eligible customers were handed over sanction letters on the spot, which generated great enthusiasm and confidence among participants. Many customers expressed keen interest in availing loans for housing, vehicles, education, and business expansion.
The bank officials guided customers on eligibility criteria, interest rates, repayment procedures, required documentation, and other key aspects of different schemes. Participants were also encouraged to make use of Digital Banking, Net Banking, and Mobile Banking services for convenient and secure transactions.
The successful organization of the outreach program significantly enhanced awareness about banking services in the region and provided customers with a strong platform to fulfill their personal and business financial needs. Participants appreciated the bank’s initiative and described it as highly beneficial and customer-friendly.
