Humor Poets Add Color to Phagua Festival Celebration in Varanasi
Varanasi: The Phagua Festival and Felicitation Ceremony was organized at Hotel Kings Banaras, located on Assi–Lanka Road, on the occasion of the 19th Foundation Day of the Uttar Pradesh Patrakar Parishad. The event was jointly hosted by Nav Nirman Seva Trust and Rasvarsha Sanstha.
The program was presided over by internationally acclaimed humor poet Chakachaundh Gyanpuri. The chief guest, Ashok Kumar Pandey, Deputy Director of All India Radio Varanasi, along with other distinguished guests, graced the occasion. During the Kavi Sammelan (poets’ meet), several poets from across the country entertained the audience with their humorous and satirical recitations.
On this occasion, eminent personalities from various fields were honored with the ‘UP Gaurav’ and ‘Sanatan Shakti’ awards for their outstanding contributions. The event was conducted by Gopal Kesari, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Nutan Singh.
