Grand Holi Milan Ceremony and Membership Drive Held in Varanasi – Rajeev Paswan

Varanasi: A grand Holi Milan ceremony and membership drive was successfully organized in Varanasi district with great enthusiasm and participation. The event was attended by several party leaders and workers.
The chief guest of the program was Rajeev Paswan, State President of Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and member of the Railway Consumer Advisory Committee, Government of India. Addressing the media during a press interaction, he said that no state in India currently has a Chief Minister from the Pasi–Paswan community. The party demands that Chirag Paswan be made the Chief Minister of Bihar, which would send a positive message across the country.
He further stated that the party is preparing to contest all 403 seats in the Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly elections under the mission “UP First, UP Wale First.”
Paswan also highlighted the contributions of the party’s founder, the late Ram Vilas Paswan, who was honored with the Padma Vibhushan and often referred to as the “Second Ambedkar.” He said the party has launched a campaign titled “Chale Gaon Ki Ore” to spread awareness about his social work.
He mentioned that during his tenure as a Union Minister, Ram Vilas Paswan played a key role in ensuring that the portrait of B. R. Ambedkar was installed in the Central Hall of Parliament and worked towards securing the Bharat Ratna for him, along with getting a national holiday declared on his birth anniversary.
Paswan also credited him with regularizing around 57,000 railway porters and expanding telephone connectivity across the country during his tenure as Union Minister for Communications. He also initiated the release of commemorative postal stamps honoring heroes such as Uda Devi Pasi, Maharaja Bijli Pasi, Jhalkari Bai, and Abdul Hamid.
Encouraging party workers, Rajeev Paswan urged them to begin preparations for the 2027 Assembly elections, stating that the coming time would belong to the Lok Janshakti Party (Ram Vilas) and no government would be formed without the party’s support.
Among those present at the event were Chhote Lal Paswan (State Vice President), Ashutosh Singh Geharwar (State General Secretary and Mandal In-charge, Varanasi), Abhinav Srivastava (State Organization Secretary), Vishal Singh (Mandal President, Varanasi), Guru Prasad Rana (Metropolitan President, Varanasi), Raj Neeraj Singh (District President, Varanasi) and Ashish Patel (Senior Vice President, Varanasi) along with many other party workers.
