Allegations of “Anti-Sanatan Bias” Against Lenskart Raised by VHP Leader in Varanasi.

Varanasi: Dr. Geeta Rani, National Vice President of the Matrushakti Wing of the Vishva Hindu Mahasangh, has issued a statement alleging that Lenskart follows policies that are “anti-Sanatan” in nature.
In her statement released from Varanasi, Dr. Rani claimed that the company’s dress code policy for store employees restricts the use of Hindu religious symbols such as bindi, tilak, and kalava, while reportedly allowing other religious attire like hijab and turban. She termed this as “discriminatory” and urged that such policies are unacceptable.
Dr. Rani further stated that the Sanatan community would strongly oppose any such alleged bias and called for a boycott of companies that, according to her, implement policies perceived as discriminatory toward Hindu traditions.
As of now, there has been no official response from Lenskart regarding these allegations.
