Shubhashree Sahu to Serve as Youth Ambassador for ‘Begging-Free India’ Campaign
New Delhi: Popular Gen-Z digital creator and blogger Shubhashree Sahu has formally announced her decision to serve as the Youth Ambassador for the ‘Begging-Free India’ campaign. Known on social media as a “Digital Dreamweaver” and “Vibe Architect,” Sahu aims to channel her digital influence toward driving meaningful social change.

Her primary objective is to contribute to the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals, particularly “No Poverty” and “Zero Hunger.” Sahu stated that she has proposed collaboration with the National Human Rights Commission, the Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, and the initiative “Citizens for Begging-Free India” to strengthen the campaign’s impact.
Focus on Policy Support and Rehabilitation
Highlighting the importance of rehabilitation for individuals engaged in begging, Sahu appreciated the guidelines issued by the National Human Rights Commission and termed the Government of India’s SMILE scheme as a significant step in this direction. She expressed her willingness to work as a volunteer to bridge the gap between government policies and youth participation.

“Poverty is the Biggest Curse”
Sahu remarked, “Poverty is the biggest blow to human dignity, forcing people to beg even for basic necessities. I want the younger generation to become more sensitive towards the underprivileged and actively contribute to their upliftment.”
Turning Digital Reach into Social Impact
Despite being a student, Shubhashree Sahu has witnessed rapid growth in her digital presence. She has over 857,000 followers on Instagram and more than 120,000 subscribers on YouTube, with her content garnering over 10 million views in the past two years.
Now, she plans to dedicate her growing popularity to a larger cause—spreading awareness and inspiring youth participation in building a society where no one is forced to beg for survival.
