Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Varanasi Organizes Free Cervical Cancer Screening Camp on World Cancer Day
Varanasi: On the occasion of World Cancer Day,
Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Varanasi organized a free cervical cancer screening and treatment camp keeping women’s health as a priority. The camp was successfully conducted at Shivaji Nagar Colony, Mahmurganj.
During the camp, renowned gynecologist Dr. Ruchi Virendra examined the women and provided free cervical cancer screening and medical consultation. The primary objective of the camp was to spread awareness about cervical cancer among women and encourage early diagnosis and timely treatment.
On this occasion, President of Terapanth Mahila Mandal, Kanta Malu, Secretary Jai Shri Jain, Treasurer Alka Jain, along with the entire executive committee of the Mahila Mandal were present. The office bearers appealed to women to undergo regular health check-ups and remain vigilant to prevent serious diseases like cancer.
A large number of women participated in the camp, availed the health services, and expressed their gratitude to Terapanth Mahila Mandal for this commendable initiative.
