JSK Cricket Mahakumbh to Light Up Sigra Stadium on February 22
Varanasi: The Jai Shri Krishna Foundation is set to organize the JSK Premier League (JPL) 2026 on Sunday, February 22, at 8:00 AM at Sigra Stadium,
Varanasi. The announcement was made during a press conference held at Vivaan Diamond Jewellers showroom in Mahmoorganj by Foundation Founder Sanjeev Agarwal and event coordinators Brajesh Lod, Akanksha Mishra, Amit Soni, and Pooja Soni.
Founder Sanjeev Agarwal informed that a total of 16 teams will participate in the tournament. Each team will comprise 15 male and 15 female players, all of whom are members of the Jai Shri Krishna Foundation. The tournament is being organized with the support of one title sponsor, seven co-sponsors and partners, along with team owners. Official umpires and scorers will be appointed for all matches.
The men’s matches will be played in 8-over formats, while the women’s matches will be 6 overs each. Winners of the tournament will be honored with special shields and medals.
The organizers have appealed to prominent citizens of Varanasi, sports enthusiasts, and residents of Kashi to attend the grand sporting event and encourage the players.
Among those present at the press conference were Vinay Giri, Amit Sikdar, Rinki Jain, Palak Agarwal, Pradeep Upadhyay, Vikas Shukla, and Pramod Sharma.
