PNB Opens New Branch in Kashi Vishwanath Temple Emphasizes Customer Service
Varanasi, April 30, 2026: Punjab National Bank Managing Director & CEO Ashok Chandra visited the Varanasi circle and inaugurated a new bank branch within the Kashi Vishwanath Temple complex. This marks the 63rd branch in the Varanasi division and the 365th branch in the circle.
During a customer meet held at the circle office, Chandra stressed the importance of delivering superior banking services and strengthening customer trust. He also encouraged officials to achieve excellence in performance and to actively promote the bank’s products and services.
Under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative, the bank also inaugurated the Saraswati Gate within the temple premises and provided an electric golf cart to facilitate ease of movement for senior citizens and differently-abled devotees.
Senior bank officials and staff members were present on the occasion.
