Bharat Vikas Parishad Aastha Holds 11th Oath-Taking Ceremony in Varanasi
New office bearers pledge to promote service and cultural values
Varanasi: The 11th oath-taking ceremony of Bharat Vikas Parishad’s Aastha branch was held at Hotel Vanshivat, Mahmoorganj, on Saturday under the chairmanship of outgoing president Pramod Singh. Prof. (Dr.) Rana Gopal Singh attended as the chief guest.
The programme began with floral tribute and lamp lighting before the portraits of Bharat Mata and Swami Vivekananda, followed by a rendition of Vande Mataram by Vijaya Srivastava.
For the 2026-27 session, Mahima Shankar Tiwari took oath as President, Vinod Kumar Singh as Secretary and Amit Kumar Srivastava as Treasurer. Several activity coordinators also assumed their responsibilities during the ceremony.
Chief guest Dr. Rana Gopal Singh appreciated the branch’s social and cultural activities and assured full support. National and regional office bearers, including Dr. Shipra Dhar and Sunil Sinha, were present on the occasion.
Outstanding members were honoured for their contribution, while the programme concluded with a vote of thanks and the national anthem.
