Hindutva Outfit Submits Memorandum Against Objectionable Social Media Post on CM Yogi and Swami Vivekananda

 

Varanasi: Members and office bearers of the Rashtrawadi Hindu Shakti Vahini, led by National President Pradeep Kumar Gupta, reached Chetganj Police Station on Monday to demand strict action against an alleged objectionable social media post targeting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and spiritual icon Swami Vivekananda.

According to Pradeep Kumar Gupta, a Facebook post allegedly shared by Om Prakash Singh Beriha contained objectionable and provocative remarks against the Chief Minister and Swami Vivekananda, leading to widespread anger among members of the organization.

He stated that a large number of workers and supporters reached Chetganj Police Station to lodge a complaint and seek registration of a case against the accused. However, in the absence of the Station House Officer, a memorandum was submitted to the officer present at the police station, demanding stringent legal action.

Several office bearers and workers, including District President Jayprakash Mishra ‘Guruji’, Pandit Lokesh Joshi, Manish Singh Raghuvanshi, Rashmi Tiwari, Uma Shukla, Anita Das, Anand Sharma, Durga Sahni, Srinivas Chaubey, Vikas, and Dheeraj, were present during the protest.
