Kabir’s Teachings Continue to Guide Society: Prof. Anand Shankar Chaudhary
Varanasi: The concluding session of a day-long workshop organized at Kabir Prakatya Sthali under the Kabir Pathshala initiative was held with great enthusiasm. Renowned historian and academician Prof. Anand Shankar Chaudhary attended the event as the chief guest.
Addressing the gathering, Prof. Chaudhary said that the teachings of Saint Kabir remain highly relevant and continue to serve as a guiding force for society. He emphasized that Kabir’s message promotes humanity, social harmony, and awareness, inspiring people to bring about positive change through ethical and meaningful living.
The programme was presided over by Mahant Govind Das Bharti, head of Kabir Prakatya Sthali. During the event, certificates were distributed to all participants who successfully completed the workshop. Mahant Bharti urged the attendees to imbibe Kabir’s ideals of truth, goodwill, and human welfare in their daily lives.
Participants also presented musical renditions of Kabir’s verses and couplets, which were highly appreciated by the audience. Speakers highlighted that Kabir Pathshala is playing an important role in connecting the younger generation with the philosophy, teachings, and folk traditions associated with Saint Kabir.
Among those present on the occasion were Devendra Das, Gaurav, Nainika Srivastava, Sadhvi Radha Saheb Urvashi Nandini, Shivam, Dinesh Das, along with several dignitaries, students, and devotees. The attendees noted that such programmes are instrumental in promoting moral values, cultural awareness, and social harmony.
Kabir Prakatya Sthali, regarded as a sacred site associated with the life and legacy of Saint Kabir, regularly hosts events focused on Kabir’s philosophy, folk culture, and social cohesion, continuing to inspire people from all walks of life.
