PM Modi’s Historic Tenure Steering India Towards Viksit Bharat Goal: Vice President

New Delhi: Vice President C. P. Radhakrishnan has hailed Prime Minister Narendra Modi for achieving the historic milestone of becoming India’s longest-serving continuously elected Prime Minister. He described Modi’s tenure as a symbol of transformative leadership that has reshaped the nation’s development trajectory.

The Vice President noted that on June 10, 2026, Prime Minister Modi completed 4,399 consecutive days in office, creating a new chapter in India’s democratic history.

Highlighting the achievements of the government, Radhakrishnan said that various welfare initiatives have played a crucial role in lifting millions out of poverty while ensuring access to healthcare, housing, sanitation, drinking water, and food security. He cited flagship schemes such as Ayushman Bharat, Jal Jeevan Mission, and Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana as key drivers of social transformation and inclusive development.

He further stated that under Modi’s leadership, India has made remarkable progress in infrastructure development, digital innovation, semiconductor manufacturing, space technology, and industrial growth. At the same time, the government’s vision of “Development with Heritage” has accelerated efforts to preserve and promote the country’s rich cultural and civilizational legacy.

The Vice President also praised Prime Minister Modi’s contribution to enhancing the global recognition of Tamil language, culture, and heritage. He said that Tamil Nadu has benefited significantly from both developmental initiatives and cultural empowerment under the current leadership.

Expressing confidence in the future, Radhakrishnan said that Prime Minister Modi’s leadership would play a pivotal role in realizing the vision of “Viksit Bharat @2047” and transforming India into a developed nation by the centenary year of Independence.
