Good Writing Must Serve Society: Dr. Rita Bahuguna Joshi
Varanasi: The book “Sapno Ki Pagdandiyan” authored by senior journalist and writer Vijay Vineet was formally released at the Buddha Auditorium of Ashoka Institute in Varanasi. The chief guest at the event, Rita Bahuguna Joshi, emphasized that literature becomes meaningful only when it contributes positively to society. She described the book as an inspiring saga of struggle, determination, and dedication to education.
The book highlights the life journey of Professor Surendra Singh Kushwaha. Dr. Joshi noted that during his tenure as Vice-Chancellor, he provided new direction to education and regional languages while maintaining an active engagement with students.
Among the distinguished speakers present were Sudhir Mishra, Editor of Navbharat Times Lucknow; senior writer Vyomesh Shukla; and Prof. Manoj Kumar Singh from Banaras Hindu University, along with several other dignitaries. The speakers praised the book and described Vijay Vineet as a sensitive and fearless journalist.
The event concluded with the felicitation of the guests. The program was anchored by Ashok Anand, while the vote of thanks was delivered by Sonam Upadhyay.
