SP Leader Vishnu Sharma Protests LPG Price Hike in Unique Way

Varanasi Samajwadi Party leader Vishnu Sharma “Vishwakarma”, former metropolitan president, staged a unique protest against the recent increase in domestic and commercial LPG cylinder prices.
At his residence in Lohatia, when a scrap dealer was passing by calling out for scrap items, Sharma came out carrying a cooking gas cylinder and placed it in the scrap dealer’s bag as a symbolic gesture of protest.
He criticized the central government, saying that the increase of about ₹60 in domestic LPG cylinders and ₹115 in commercial cylinders has put additional burden on middle-class and lower-income families, especially homemakers. He added that rising inflation has made life difficult for people from all sections of society.
