India–Nepal Literary & Cultural Mahakumbh and Memorial Honors – 2026 in Varanasi

Varanasi The three-day India–Nepal Literary & Cultural Mahakumbh and Memorial Honors – 2026 will be inaugurated with a flute recital by Dr. Rajesh Gautam, former Deputy Director of Akashvani Varanasi. The event will be held on 12–14 March 2026 at 4 PM daily, at the Mahamana Malviya Auditorium, Kashi Seva Samiti, near Shah Nursing Home, Varanasi.
Organized jointly by Kashi Hindi Vidyapeeth and All India Writers, Poets, and Artists Council, under the chief coordination of poet Indrajeet Tiwari ‘Nirbhik’, the festival will feature eminent literary personalities from India and Nepal.
The first day will be chaired by Dr. Chandrbhal Sukumar, former District Judge of Prayagraj, with poets Premkishore Patakha (Aligarh) and Nandalalmani Tripathi ‘Pitambar’ (Gorakhpur) as guests. The second day will see Prof. Hariprasad Adhikari, former Head of Ancient Philosophy, Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, presiding, with guests Prof. Ompal Singh ‘Nidar’ and Dr. Hariprasad Timilsina (Nepal). The third day will be chaired by Dr. Ram Avtar Pandey, former President of Central Bar Association, Varanasi, with poet Subhashchandra Yadav and Sourabh Pandey as guests.
Special honorary awards will be presented to distinguished personalities from India and Nepal by Kashi Hindi Vidyapeeth Chancellor Poet Sukmangal Singh ‘Mangal’, along with India–Nepal Memorial Honors by Dr. Pramod Vachaspati and Dr. Omprakash Dwivedi ‘Om’.
