Demand for Smooth LPG Supply During Navratri and Eid in Varanasi
Varanasi, March 20: Samajwadi Party leader Vishnu Sharma “Vishwakarma” spoke with Additional District Magistrate (Supply) Amit Bharti regarding the ongoing disruption in domestic LPG cylinder supply. Despite claims by petroleum companies, consumers are still facing delays even after booking cylinders.
He urged the administration to ensure smooth and timely delivery of LPG cylinders, especially during the upcoming festivals of Navratri and Eid. Sharma also raised concerns about alleged irregularities by delivery personnel (trolley men), stating that consumers are being forced to make repeated visits and still not receiving cylinders on time.
He requested strict monitoring to prevent such issues and ensure hassle-free supply for the public.
