Kashi Premier League T-10 Trials to Be Held in Varanasi on April 12; Official T-Shirt Presented to Mayor

Varanasi: There is tremendous enthusiasm among young cricketers regarding the All India Open Trials for the Kashi Premier League (KPL) T-10. The next trial will be आयोजित on April 12, 2026, in Varanasi, where a large number of aspiring players are expected to showcase their talent.
The उद्घाटन समारोह will be graced by prominent dignitaries including State Minister (Independent Charge) Ravindra Jaiswal, Cabinet Minister Anil Rajbhar, Varanasi Development Authority member Ambrish Singh Bhola, and former councillor Manoj Singh.
Former IPL player Amitosh Singh will also be present to evaluate players and boost their morale. According to the organizers, the league, guided by international players and experienced coaches, will serve as a major platform for emerging talent and contribute to giving a new identity to cricket in Uttar Pradesh.
Attractive पुरस्कार have been announced for participants. Winners of categories such as Man of the Series, Man of the Match, Best Batsman, and Best Bowler will receive cars and sports bikes, while the winning team will be awarded a cash prize of ₹27 lakh. Matches will be broadcast live on TV and OTT platforms, with arrangements made for players’ accommodation and travel. Celebrities will honor the winners during the final match.
In a related event, the official KPL T-shirt was presented to Varanasi Mayor Ashok Kumar Tiwari. The organizers briefed him about the league’s structure and preparations. The Mayor appreciated the initiative, stating that such sporting events provide golden opportunities for local youth and help elevate the city’s reputation in the sports arena.
The Kashi Premier League is being seen as a significant step in Varanasi’s sporting history, offering budding players a chance to gain national recognition.
Deputy Chairman Shadab Khan and Management Manager Rudra Pandey, along with Adil Khan and Bhojpuri star Prince Diwana, are actively involved in the preparations for the event.
