city of Varanasi, ‘Shri Kashi Seva Sansthanam’ was formally inaugurated with a commitment to selfless service. On this occasion, a “Maha Rudrabhishek” was performed at Baba Sarangnath Mahadev Temple in Sarnath, praying for global peace and well-being.
Addressing the gathering, the संस्थान’s President, Rajesh Seth, expressed concern over the growing trend of neglect and disrespect towards elderly parents in society. He highlighted that many parents, who raise their children with great hardship, are often left alone or disrespected when they need support the most.
He announced that the organization will provide free legal assistance to help senior citizens secure their rights. Additionally, arrangements will be made for food, medical care, and overall support for destitute elderly individuals. In the future, the institution also plans to offer free shelter facilities and take responsibility for last rites if required.
Treasurer Kishore Seth (former corporator) elaborated on other objectives of the organization, stating that it will actively work towards educating underprivileged children, empowering girls through free vocational training, promoting organic farming, offering treatment through yoga, providing medical assistance to the poor, and supporting the marriage of underprivileged girls. Plans are also underway to establish a free old-age home for destitute senior citizens.
Secretary Santosh Rawat stated that through the “Maha Rudrabhishek” ceremony, prayers were offered to Lord Mahadev for strength and dedication so that all members remain committed to serving the needy sections of society.
The event was attended by Senior Vice President Ajay Singh, Manish Chaurasia, Manish Mishra, Legal Advisor Shamsher Ali, Satyendra Yadav, and several other distinguished individuals.
It is noteworthy that ‘Shri Kashi Seva Sansthanam’ has received strong support from journalists, advocates, doctors, social workers, and philanthropists of Kashi. The organization aims to spread a positive message of service and social commitment from Varanasi across the nation.
