Atopic Dermatitis Update 2026 in Varanasi; Experts Discuss Emerging Treatments

Varanasi: A half-day Continuing Medical Education (CME) program titled “Atopic Dermatitis Update 2026” was on April 25, 2026, by the Society for Eczema Studies in Varanasi. Leading dermatologists from across the country participated in the event and shared insights on recent advancements and ongoing challenges in the management of Atopic Dermatitis.
Experts highlighted that the condition is rapidly increasing among both children and adults and significantly impacts patients’ quality of life. Discussions covered not only conventional therapies but also focused on the effectiveness of newer treatment options such as biologics and JAK inhibitors.
Dr. Sandipan Dhar, President of the Society for Eczema Studies, stated that the primary aim of such programs is to keep healthcare professionals updated with the latest research and treatment approaches, ultimately ensuring improved patient care.
