Free Drinking Water Stall Set Up to Beat Heat, Passersby Get Relief
Varanasi: Under its ongoing “Seva Sutra” initiative, the Aastha Branch set up a free drinking water stall near Kalika Katra–Madhav Medical, Chandmari, Bada Lalpur, along the main road. The initiative aims to provide साफ और ठंडा पेयजल to people amid the intense summer heat.
At the stall, passersby are being served clean, cool earthen-pot water daily, along with batasha and jaggery. The facility was inaugurated by Sharda Devi Vishwakarma, mother of bike mechanic Jaihind Vishwakarma.
Several commuters stopped to quench their thirst and appreciated the humanitarian effort by Bharat Vikas Parishad. District Co-coordinator Sanjay Singh, Secretary Vinod Kumar Singh, and former President Pramod Singh were present on the occasion.
