Inner Wheel Club Varanasi ‘Vaidehi’ Marks Grand Beginning with Chairman’s Visit

Varanasi: Amid the festive spirit of Holi and on the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Inner Wheel Club (IWC) Varanasi ‘Vaidehi’ organized its official Chairman’s Visit programme at a hotel in Lanka. District Chairman Priya Narayan graced the event and extended her guidance and blessings to the newly formed women’s club named after Maa Janaki.
During the programme, several social service initiatives were launched. A sewing machine was donated to a charitable organization, stationery and essential materials were distributed to underprivileged children, and old newspapers and sarees were given to women engaged in rag-picking work.
The event was conducted by club editors Deepa Singh and Neha, while the programme was planned and coordinated by Club President Vani Bhardwaj and Secretary Vandana Jha. Madhulika Singh presented the sewing machine to the organization.
The celebration also featured special Holi arrangements by Anita Rai, while Deepa Singh and Neha Jha recited motivational poems on International Women’s Day.
Club members Juhi, Pooja, Indu, Kiran, Pratima and Sudha actively participated in the event. Members from other clubs, including Rekha Mehra, Sonia, Sunita, Vinita and Khushboo, were also present. The programme concluded with a vote of thanks delivered by Madhavi.
