Cleanliness Volunteer Mangal Kewat Honoured at Holi Milan Ceremony in Varanasi
Varanasi: On the occasion of the Holi Milan ceremony organized by the Varanasi City Truck Transport Association, individuals who have made notable contributions to social service and cleanliness were honoured.
During the event, Mangal Kewat, a cleanliness volunteer associated with the Maa Ganga Swachhta Abhiyan at Rajghat Bridge in Varanasi, was felicitated with a memento for his dedicated work in maintaining cleanliness. Two office bearers of the association were also honoured with mementos for their remarkable contributions.
The programme was held on March 10, 2026, at 3:00 PM at the garden of Shri Vishwanath Yadav (Proprietor, Jai U.P. Ballia Transport) located in Dalhata, Visheshwarganj, Varanasi. Members of the association and several dignitaries attended the event and appreciated the initiative.
