Bharat Vikas Parishad ‘Srijan’ Branch Holds 4th Oath-Taking Ceremony
Shashi Srivastava re-elected President for the fourth time; Dr. Rama Singh appointed Secretary and Praveen Sinha as Treasurer
The 4th oath-taking ceremony of Bharat Vikas Parishad ‘Srijan’ Branch was organized at a hotel in Varanasi. The event began with garlanding of Swami Vivekananda and Bharat Mata, followed by lamp lighting and Vande Mataram.
Members paid tribute to dedicated member Anil Srivastava with a moment of silence. President Shashi Srivastava, Secretary Dr. Rama Singh, Treasurer Praveen Sinha and Women Coordinator Rekha Shukla presented the annual report for session 2025-26.
Provincial President Harvinder Walia and Organization Secretary Rishi Shukla administered the oath to the newly elected office bearers for session 2026-27. Chief Guest Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma, Vice Chancellor of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, addressed the gathering on Indian culture and values. Special guest Dr. Ritu Khanna also shared her views on the subject.
The programme included cultural performances, a Ram Stuti presentation and a street play spreading awareness against substance abuse. Vote of thanks was delivered by Shivaji Srivastava.
