BHU to Host 7th National Convention of Vijnana Bharati on June 13–14

Varanasi, June 11: The 7th National Convention of Vijnana Bharati, India’s largest science movement, will be held at Banaras Hindu University (BHU) on June 13 and 14, 2026. Around 1,200 scientists, researchers, academicians, policymakers, and experts from India and abroad are expected to participate in the two-day event.

The convention will be inaugurated on June 13 by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. The event will feature deliberations on key themes such as One Health, Net Zero for a Developed India, and Artificial Intelligence and Ethics.

The valedictory session will be held on June 14, with Sanjay Seth attending as the Chief Guest.

National office-bearers of Vijnana Bharati said the convention will serve as an important platform for scientific dialogue, collaboration, and policy discussions. The event is expected to contribute significantly to the vision of a developed India through science, innovation, and knowledge-sharing.
