Ministers serving in various departments of the Bihar government are continuously working to strengthen development, cultural preservation, and public service delivery across the state. Strengthening the Information System
Maheshwar Hazari, currently serving as Bihar’s Minister for Information and Public Relations, is a senior leader of Janata Dal (United) and represents the Kalyanpur Assembly constituency in Samastipur district. During his tenure, he has taken concrete steps to make the state’s information system more effective, transparent, and citizen-centric. His initiatives have significantly improved the dissemination of government schemes and policies, ensuring that information reaches the public more efficiently and promptly.
Promoting Cultural Heritage and Tourism
Arun Shankar Prasad, Minister for Tourism, Art, Culture and Youth Affairs, has pledged to establish Bihar’s rich cultural heritage at both national and international levels after assuming office. Under his leadership, new plans have been launched to develop tourism destinations, expand cultural events, and engage youth in art and cultural activities. His efforts are strengthening Bihar’s historic identity and enhancing its global visibility.
Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha: An Active Public Leader
Bhagwan Singh Kushwaha is regarded as a prominent political figure in Bihar. He has been associated with parties such as Rashtriya Janata Dal and Lok Janshakti Party and has previously held ministerial responsibilities. In July 2024, he was elected as a Member of the Bihar Legislative Council and is currently affiliated with Janata Dal (United). In the Bhojpur region, he is recognized as an active and popular public representative and has also served in a leading role in the party’s youth wing.
Tej Pratap Yadav’s Active Political Engagement
Tej Pratap Yadav currently represents the Hasanpur Assembly constituency in the Bihar Legislative Assembly and previously represented the Mahua constituency. During the Grand Alliance government, he served as Health Minister. He continues to play an active role in state politics and is considered vocal in raising public issues.
On this occasion, the efforts made under the leadership of Minister Arun Shankar Prasad to provide renewed recognition to the state’s cultural heritage were widely appreciated.
