Kashi Leadership Excellence Awards 2026 Conclude, Five Women Honoured
Varanasi: The third edition of the “Kashi Leadership Excellence Awards 2026,” organized by the Kashi JCI Charitable Trust and JCI Kashi, was successfully held on March 22 at Hotel Hindustan International. This year’s event was celebrated as the “Year of Women सम्मान,” recognizing and honouring outstanding women from diverse fields.
The कार्यक्रम commenced with the traditional lighting of the ceremonial lamp. The Chief Guest, Vice-Chancellor of Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Prof. Bihari Lal Sharma, emphasized the importance of women empowerment, stating that providing respect and opportunities to women is the hallmark of a progressive society.
On this occasion, five distinguished women were felicitated for their exceptional contributions: Dr. Ankita Patel (Healthcare), Shaily Mehrotra (Entrepreneurship), Dr. Sarika Srivastava (Education & Research), Sumedha Pathak (Sports), and Sona Kapoor (Social Service). Each awardee shared her journey and experiences, inspiring the youth in attendance.
The event was hosted by Anil K. Jajodia, while the vote of thanks was delivered by CA P. K. Agrawal. The आयोजन was widely appreciated as an inspiring initiative towards promoting women empowerment.
