Varanasi: After the Bharatiya Janata Party announced the appointment of several district presidents on Thursday, an atmosphere of and celebration was witnessed among BJP workers in Varanasi. Following the appointment of Ram Sakal Patel, who comes from the OBC community, as the new BJP District President of Varanasi, a large number of party workers and leaders gathered at his residence on Friday to congratulate him and extend their best wishes for a successful tenure.
Former village head of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s adopted village Kakrahiya and former BJP Mandal President Manoj Singh welcomed Ram Sakal Patel with a bouquet. Party workers celebrated the occasion with drumbeats, distributed sweets, and shared their happiness with great enthusiasm.
Workers described Ram Sakal Patel as a grassroots leader with a strong organizational hold at the booth level. They expressed confidence that under his leadership, the BJP organization in Varanasi would become stronger and every worker would receive due respect. Leaders also said that keeping the 2027 Assembly elections in mind, the organization would begin strengthening its groundwork from now itself.
On the occasion, BJP leaders and workers said they would work shoulder to shoulder with Ram Sakal Patel to further strengthen the organization. Wishing him a successful and energetic tenure, they expressed confidence that the party would achieve new heights under his leadership.
