Four Accused Denied Bail in Manish Singh Murder Case; Senior Advocates Represent Victim’s Family Pro Bono

Varanasi: In the widely discussed Manish Singh murder case of Ghamahapur, the District and Sessions Court rejected the bail applications of all four accused during a hearing held on Monday.

Representing the victim’s side were senior criminal lawyer Ashok Singh Prince, former President of the Central Bar Association, Varanasi; Murli Singh, former President of the Central Bar Association; Sanjay Singh Dadhi, former General Secretary of the Central Bar Association; along with advocates Shailendra Pratap Singh and Vivek Singh, a former member of the Central Bar’s Managing Committee. The legal team presented detailed arguments and facts before the court, which ultimately led to the rejection of the bail pleas.

A noteworthy aspect of the case was that all the advocates appeared on behalf of the victim’s family without charging any fee. Their decision to provide free legal representation in pursuit of justice has been widely appreciated as a reflection of social responsibility, professional commitment, and humanitarian values.

Local residents and several social organizations have lauded the advocates’ selfless contribution, describing it as an inspiring example of service and compassion within the justice system.
