GST-Related Issues Discussed in Detail at Traders’ Interaction Programme
Varanasi, June 5: A Traders’ Interaction Programme organized by the State Tax Department witnessed detailed discussions on traders’ concerns and various aspects of the Goods and Services Tax (GST). The initiative aimed to establish effective communication between the department and the business community while addressing taxation-related issues.
The programme was attended by Dharmendra Kumar Chaudhary, Deputy Commissioner, State Tax Division-12, Rakesh Singh, Assistant Commissioner, State Tax Division-12, and Subhash Chandra, State Tax Officer, Division-12. The officials addressed traders’ queries and provided valuable information regarding GST provisions, return filing procedures, e-way bills, and other taxation-related matters.
On the occasion, Anand Kumar Maurya (Advocate), Harishankar Singh alias Munna (President, Brick Manufacturers Association, Varanasi), and Pankaj Singh, a representative of the brick manufacturing sector, shared their views and highlighted the challenges faced by traders before the department.
A large number of traders and entrepreneurs, including Chandra Prakash Maurya, Kamlesh Singh, Satish Kumar Maurya, Virendra Kumar Maurya, Deepak Kumar, Ram Prakash Maurya, Santalal, Harsh Kumar, Shiv Kumar, Rakesh Maurya, and Sachin Kumar Maurya, participated in the programme.
The officials urged traders to comply with tax regulations and maintain direct communication with the department for the timely resolution of their issues. Participants appreciated the initiative, describing it as an important step towards strengthening coordination and mutual understanding between the tax department and the business community.
