Hundreds of Devotees Receive Prasad at Annadan Mahadan in Varanasi
Varanasi: As part of the five-day Guru Kripa Lok Kalyan Programme being organized by Moksha Sadan Charitable Trust at Dattapeeth Ashram, Kedar Ghat, the Annadan Mahadan (food donation programme) was successfully conducted on the fourth day, coinciding with the auspicious occasion of Bhanu Saptami.
The event was inaugurated by Saurabh Srivastava, MLA from Cantt constituency, who distributed food among devotees. Addressing the gathering, he said that Sanatan culture is rooted in the spirit of service and public welfare, and such initiatives help strengthen social harmony and national unity.
On the occasion, Usha Rani, President of the Trust, felicitated the MLA with a ceremonial stole and a memento. A large number of devotees, saints, social workers, and local residents participated in the programme and received prasad.
The five-day spiritual and welfare event will conclude on June 8 with the Jal Seva Mahadan (water service programme).
